Having completed his PhD (on pig production and welfare) in 1994 at the University of Reading and following a post-doctoral position at Oxford University, Steve went on to work first of all as a research consultant for ADAS and then as the manager of a consortium of England’s leading agricultural colleges. Steve founded Delta-innovation in January 2005 and since that time has led and completed projects on behalf of DairyCo, Eblex, BPEX, Defra, the Commission for Rural Communities, the National Trust, and Lantra, amongst others.

Adam is a Research Consultant with Delta-innovation. From a farming background, Adam graduated from Harper Adams University College in 2006 with a first class degree in Countryside Management, including a one-year placement at the Environment Agency working on the implementation of the European Union’s Water Framework Directive. Adam joined Delta-innovation in 2007 and has been a key player in developing labour productivity monitoring for both the pig production and dairy industries.
